An Unexpected Halloween Costume!

Do you know what happens when you decide to help your cousin to dress up her twin daughters, aka your little twin cousins? You end up looking like this

The thing is that my little cousins had a Halloween Party, and like 6 moms decided to dress them up together, and I offered my help. But turns out, the 8 little girls where doing my makeup, instead of me doing theirs. One was doing my left cheek with bronzer in a circling way, while the other put blush in my right cheek in an up-and-down way. One girl was doing my left eye and another did my right. My lips where a mix, one did it first, the other one didn’t like it, so she apply more lipgloss, until my cousin say “I will apply some eyeliner in her lips so they will look bigger”. While this girls were doing my makeup, another one was giving instructions “More blush” “More black shadow in her eye”.
At the end, my big cousin (the mother of the twins) decided to paint my hair with some colored hairspray, because she thought it will be funny.
The best part of the story? I had an important meeting after my makeup session, and I couldn’t take it out because I was already late and didnt have makeup remover

The Great Nasty Smelly Mix

The things I do to highlight my beauty.

I dyed my hair 6 weeks ago, and since I did it, my hair is dryer than before. My mom realize it, and together we googled tips for a healthier hair, besides a good shampoo (sulfate free!). We found out a recipe that I been using for the last 2 weeks, and the results are amazing! My hair is shiner, softer, and not that dry (not the THAT? it’s because is a process, I hope that in two more weeks I can say not dry.) The recipe is a little gross, and the smell is hideous, but as I said before, the results are amazing, so it’s worth it!

You need
-egg yolk, just one
-6 spoons of olive oil
-2 spoons of vinegar (YUM! I love the smell! NOT)

Mix them together and apply it to your hair. I just apply it in the tips because normally the scalp is grassier than the tips, but you can do as you wish!

Leave the nasty smelly mix in your hair for ten minutes, then take a shower and wash your hair as you normally do.

Wait till it dry, and see the results! They are amaze balls!

Plus, what better for bounding time with your mom that the Nasty Smelly Mix?

The Sky Is Falling

And not in a Chicken Little way, but in a it’s-raining-so-bad-that-i-deserve-a-hot-cocoa way.

It’s weird, many people hate when it rains, but not me. I actually love it.  I love being in my house with a huge blanket and my favorite baggy PJ’s watching TV or a chick flick.

The thing is, that my school sent me tons of homeworks two weeks ago, last week I was finishing everything and doing more work, plus my SAT practices. And today, I’m just exhausted. I need a break from everything, and the rain helps me a lot.

So what’d you like best about a rainy day? Comment below!

Back to your childhood

This is how it works. The trip of your life is finished, you are a senior, you have applications forms in your desk beside your SAT text book, you are going to represent your school in an MUN outside your country, and your inner child pops out like it never did before.

You suddenly remember that all your clothes were from Limited Too, and sadly, it closed. You remember when Miranda took blame for something Lizzie did, and Kate made Miranda’s life impossible. You remember playing the games that came with your computer, and not the ones in your ipad. You remember that after school, you sat in your inflatable furniture while your mom called you to take a bath with your Loreal Kids that looked like a fish (and let me tell you, no tears nothing, that thing burned as hell).

All those memories and more come back, you feel this urge to relive them. But you are effing SEVENTEEN, and must of those stuff are off the market or television for at least 8 years.
So what now? Yes, you can create a board in Pinterest with all your memories (I did), but is not the same. It’s not the same.

But thankfully, I did my research and it turns out, that must of those shows are in Netflix or Youtube, and that I can relive a small part of my childhood all over again!

MU

I remember when I was like 6 years old, it was winter vacation and I went to the movies with my parents. We watched Monsters Inc.

To tell you the truth, even thou I totally enjoy it, and laughed so hard, I was scared of monsters. I slept with my closet opened, because that way they couldn’t get in, the monster wont be able to open a closet that is already opened.

I was a toddler back then, when I watched what was going to be one of my favorites Disney movies. And now, I’m 17, applying to universities and finishing high school, and the monsters are going to a university too.

I can’t even start to explain how exited I am. I been waiting 10 years for this, kids, so back off!

Here is an amazing link that will make your inner child go out! http://monstersuniversity.com/edu/index.html

The Perks of Being a Wallflower

Ok, so as you know, a while ago I read “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” and I been trying to write a post about it, but every time I tried, I found something else to write about. So now, it’s time! (see what I did there? I put the name of the song in the trailer and did like a word game! I’m hilarious)

I’m going to be 100% honest here. I saw that there is going to be a movie call The Perks of blah blah (the name is so long, I’m not going to type it everytime) and Logan Lerman was going to act in it. Since I adore Logan Lerman, I searched about the movie in the Internet, and I found out that the movie is based in a book. I love reading, so I look for the book.

It said that it’s an epistolary book, which means that is written in letters, and I was excited because we just saw that in school.

I start reading it, and I couldn’t devour it because my kindle ran out of battery (as you know). But I enjoyed what I read.

Charlie is this naïve freshman, who lost a friend because of suicidal. He got in High School, and he wasn’t exactly a geeky boy (even thou he got straight As), but he wasn’t popular at all, he was actually alone, until he met Sam and Patrick. He made friends, overcame some of his problems, and enjoyed his freshman year. Charlie wrote letters to this guy whose name is never revealed. The only thing we know about this guy is that Charlie contacted him because a girl told him to do so, that he would understand.

This is a book that I will totally recommend. Actually, add it to my “to READ list”.
