The Fault and Alaska

It’s been a while since I last posted something here! I been crazy busy, and to be sincere, I kind of forgot about this blog. Maybe it was the lack of inspiration, writers block or that I am not at home. But anyhow, I am here to talk about two amazing books I just read, both by John Green.

I was in the airport with my parents, and I know my dad loves Gourmet Magazines, so I went to a newsstand to buy him his magazines. When I was there I saw “The Fault in Our Stars” and I bought it. I didn’t know what it was about, who John Green was, or if the book was any good. I just read on Pinterest that it was a good book so I wanted to give it a try. I devored it! Hazel is a girl with lung problems, and she fells for Augustus, a boy –gorgerous boy- who suffers from osteosarcoma . The love story is great, and it starts from the beginning. You will cry and laugh with this book, you will love and hate the characters, and you will found yourself asking “Okay?” more than once.

While reading TFIOS, I thought a lot about a friend (how do you call a person with who you are in a flirtationship with?). Whenever we want to talk to each other by text, we send a little ghost, the emoticon, and we know that is out way of saying hi, hello, sorry, or whatever. It’s our “Okay”.

When I was almost finishing TFIOS, I bought “Looking for Alaska”. At first I thought it was boring, I didn’t understood much, and then, without I realized, I was almost reaching the “after” part. It was so easy to read after a few pages, and I felt as a character, someone who was there living the novel, not just a reader. Alaska is a crazy girl that somehow I can relate to. I say what is on my mind and I fight for the right things. About death and cigarrets? I am the opposite of Alaska Young.

When I read the description of Pudge, I thought of my flirt-partner. Almost the same description and they act kind of the same. Except my Pudge is a great flirter.  I don’t know if John Green has a way of making me feel related to his books somehow, but he is sure doing a great job!

Orange

My friend was shocked when I told her that my dad and I watched “Orange Is the New Black” together.  She was even more surprised when I told her that my brother was the one who told us to watch it.  Watching sex scenes when your parents are in the same room is something must teens want to avoid, now imagine lesbian sex scenes.

Even if at times it was awkward to watch that –and with my dad!- we couldn’t stop watching it! The show is addictive, the plot is amazing and it’s just amazing how interesting the show is.

Pipper Chapman is a normal girl who falls in love with a girl, who ask Pipper to help her do some nasty business. Pipper is sent to prison for 14 months, where she has to learn how to stand for herself, and that everyone has a different story.

Each character is so well written, and the actresses do a flawless performance.  Nicky, Red, Mrs. Claudette, Alex, every single character has her own way of being, each of them has a background, that  we learn a little part of each convicts’ story, along with Chapman’s, in each episode

Season 2 has already been announced, and seriously, I’m super excited! My dad and I promise that I will watch it with him, when I get back from college next year. Hey, we started this together, we are going to finish it together!

Confidence

I know how I have written motivation post, healthy snacks ideas and ways to lose weight (changing your habits). But last week I realize that I really don’t want to lose weight. I mean, yes, I want a fit body and I want to be able to rock a swimsuit, but the reality, is that we need confidence in ourselves.

Last week I went to a vacation trip with my friends, and we went to a club (legal age is 18 at that place, my friends), where I dance a lot. One day I was dancing and a guy who was probably 20 came from behind and dance with me, while he moved his hands to my belly. I found that odd, and ask my friend’s older –and super hot- brother what was that, why a boy will put his hands in my belly? His response was simple yet satisfying: “we like to grab something. Hot doesn’t mean skinny, sexiness comes from confidence”

When I wrote my motivation post, I said that I have a picture of a cute guy so I can get motivation, when in reality, I wont change for a guy. If I will lose weight, I will do it for me, to be healthier. I will stil skip ketchup and I will drink my tea because I like how my body feels now. Im confident in it, I love my body, and everybody else should too.

“Sexiness comes from confidence”- Kevin H.

A meaning

I should be writing more.  I should have something to write about, but I have nothing. A while ago I was looking at my blog, and I read almost every post, and I realize that everytime my writing was worse, as if I was writing just to have more posts, instead of trying to improve my writing skills. I love to write, I find it therapeutic, and it’s the career I chosen to study.

I want to give this blog a twist, give it some meaning. Make it more a growing process than just getting tons of people on my blog.

Monsters University

I finished High School last Friday, my graduation is in less than a month ( school thing, graduation is a month after we actually finish school) and I just got depressed thanks to Monsters University, not because it was a bad movie, but because it was more than awesome!

I’m pretty sure I have already said it, but Monsters Inc came put when I was 6, and I remember perfectly that I dressed up as Boo in Halloween that same year. I even had the little stuffed monster she stole from Mike that my nana made from scratch –I have to look for that thing, is somewhere in my room-. Since I was 6, I was waiting for another Monters movie, and yes, even if I was scared of monsters coming out of my closet to scare me, I loved, and still do, that movie.

Today, after almost 12 years, I went to see the monsters of my childhood go to college. The most sad thing? I’m about to go to college to, well, after a gap year of course. But the fact that Sully and Mike are going to college at the same time I’m filling applications and doing my work to get in college, is kind of sad. Not lame, pathetic kind of sad, but an i-grew-up-too-quickly kind of sad.

RIP VINE

When Vine came out I wanted to download it in my phone. For some reason I couldn’t find it –maybe because I have a Galaxy S3- but I was mad because I really wanted to watched videos, because as you know, I spend most of my day in Youtube.

But Instagram decided to upgrade their system and now you can upload videos too! And put filters! Im super happy about that because, even if I rant a lot about instagram a few days ago I freaking love those filters and how cute my pictures look!
Did I find a new hobby? Oh yeah! I just hope the Youtubers I follow on Instagram start uploading ideos with those little cute filters! (I sound so lame)

Throwback Thursday

It’s all over internet, and I decided to answer some questions to honor this weekly day!

When did you born?
May 2nd 1995
Describe yourself when little?
Pale skin, I had an afro, big brown eyes, and I was a  pretty big baby. Big, not fat!
What shows did you watch as a kid?
Everything on Disney, like Even Steven, That’s So Raven, The Sweet Life of Zack and Cody, Brandy and Mr. Whiskers, Lizzie McGuire, House of Mouse, Dinosaurs, Boy Meets World, Brotherly Love, Phill of the Future, Power Rangers (the ones where they were animals).
From Nickelodeon pretty much everything, like Ginger, Angry Beavers, Rocko (even if I hated it), Power Rangers, SpongeBob, Rugrats, Drake and Josh, Kablam!, and more!
And form random channels things like Sleepover Club and H2O Just Add Water .
What did you wanted to be when you grow up? Do you want to be that today?
In kindergarten I wanted to be a teacher, then a dentist, then a doctor, then a designer because I loved to draw, then a fashion designer, then something that has to do with fashion and finally I decided to be a journalist. I always liked to write, like I wrote a small story about me being a dentist that I cant find right now, but I wrote it.
Favorite toys to play with?
My brothers Game Boy, my Yu Gi Oh cards, my barbies and Polly Pockets. I also drew and wrote a lot when I was little, if pencils and paper count as a toy
Something embarrassing that happened to you when you were a child?
Well, I don’t get embarrassed easly, so there is no thing. Funny moments? Yes. I was mad at my brother because he ate the last cookie and I wanted it, so as a revenge, I grabbed all my barbies (I had like 50, no joke) and took out all the clothes and put them in my brothers room, with all the clothes on his floor. He is very OCD, everything in his room has to be perfect, so he got pretty mad at me. Another funny thing, when I was like 5 I farted in his car, and he didn’t let me get in his car for more than 2 months (OCD, remember?)
Three songs you listen when you were younger?
Well, not songs exactly, but so you get the idea, all Backstreet Boys songs, Britney Spears songs and Disney Songs, because I’m that cool.
Name some of your Halloween costumes when you were younger?
Ballerina, Doll ( I hated that costume!), Boo from Monsters Inc (my nana made me the stuffed animal Mike gave to her), a chef, and Cleopatra.
Something weird you did when you were a child?
I was a weird child, I’m still a weird girl! So must of the things I did were weird! I put naked Barbies on my brother’s room! But something really, really weird is that I filmed with my neighbors a crappy sitcom. It was pretty weird because first we had a camara, then we broke it so we just acted WITH NO ONE TO WATCH IT
Do you have a story about a broken arm or stiches?
No, and I don’t get why, I was like a monkey, I always climbed things, but never fell of anything.
Do you live in a different world from when you were a kid?
Totally different. I played with marbles and Yu Gi Oh cards and legos and things like that. Now kids have Ipads and better phones than mine! (look for my post about childhood!)

Instagram Ranting Time

I can’t understand how people find me on Instagram! I seriously can’t! I have my pictures protected so random people won’t find me and they won’t steal my pictures, but somehow they do! And no, no thanks to my hashtags because they are like “#NicoleAteTheWholePizza “ “doggyPuIsMarried” and random hashtags that are inside jokes with my friends. SO HOW THE HELL DID YOU FOUND ME ON THIS S@#?!T.

The boy I like is not following me, Josh Hutcherson is not following me, so why are you?!  Unless I know who you are, please, please, don’t add me! Must likely, I will reject you, and I wont even follow you back. So there’s that!

Talking about hashtags, I really cant understand why people put every word on a different hashtag?! #they #do #like #this #and #it #is #so #annoying #followforfollow #Instalike #Suit #pool# water #sun #hamburger #tomatoe #cheese #meat #more #meat… DO YOU HAVE TO PUT SO MANY HASHTAGS?
Another thing I really can’t understand is why people put more than 4 pictures of the same situation! I have like three friends that go to eat with their family and they put a picture with each member of the family, separately , and then a picture of the food, and a picture of their outfit, and at the end of the day they have like 8 picture of the same event. DO A FREAKING PICSTICH! I know you want to take many pictures because you want to have the memories forever and yada yada yada. But don’t post them all or post them in a collage! Everyone is happy!

The last thing I find annoying on instagram is when a person likes EVERY. SINGLE. PICTURE you have on your profile, even the old ones, the really, really old ones. There are two options a) you are trolling me b)you are stalking me. Either of them are extremely annoying and I will be super mad, unless is option b and you are Logan Lerman or Josh Hutcherson!

I Hate My Job Video Reaction

How long has it been since I did a video reaction? Well, thanks to another blogger (link below) I’m doing a new one!

  • It took me at least a year to get used to high heels, meaning it took me a while to learn how to properly walk on those shoes, and it took me longer to be able to dance in parties with them. So how the hell those men can perform a choreography perfectly with heels! I DO NOT UNDERSTAND!
  • Do they use Veet to shave their legs? Because they are freakily smooth! WHY!
  • I think they are amazing dancers
  • The middle one is super hot. There, I said it, even if he is shaved and on high heels he is hot.
  • If I hear the song on the radio there is a 99% chance I will smash it and then through it away
  • Even if I think it’s funny, I’ll stay with other weird men dancing around like “Peter la Anguila” (you should watch it)
  • Am I the only one who thinks this looks like the “Single Ladies” dance?

I Apologize

I want to apologize, really, really apologize to all. I wanted to post every day three pages of my Wreck This Journal but I been so busy procrastinating and filling application that even if I’m completing my journal, I didn’t take many pictures, meaning I have a few pictures of what I have done! I promise I will do a video and put some music when it’s done so you can see the final result!

Best Feelings

So while writing the post about “Reasons to Smile” just seconds ago, y wrote “it’s one of the best feelings in the world”. So, as usual, I decided to make a list, only this time, about the best feelings in the world

  • Taking out your makeup after a long day
  • Taking out your bra after whatever you did during the day. (it doesn’t matter how long you had it on, it’s always feel great when you take it out)
  • Taking out your heels after dancing or walking a lot on them
  • Making someone laugh
  • Helping someone pass a school subject
  • Peeing after holding your pee for a long time
  • Watching an old movie while it’s raining outside
  • Being able to talk to your parents
  • Creating new memories with someone
  • Receiving a hug from a person who is huggable! They feel like a giant stuffed animal, the only difference is that the person loves you for real!
  • Realizing it’s Friday!
  • Realizing is summer!
  • Taking a shower after a workout
  • Pooping in your own toilet after going for a vaca
  • Sleeping in the cold side of the pillow. WIN!
  • Getting your driver’s license!

Reasons To Smile

I know, it has been forever since I last posted on my blog, but I swear I have a good excuse this time! I had writers block, a really bad one. I tried to sit down and write essays for school and applications but couldn’t, I try to draw, write goodbye letters to my friends (school activity for graduation) but nothing. I couldn’t do anything that has to do with creativity. Why? I have no f idea!
But as usual I spend most of my day in YouTube or Pinterest and I saw a video that is called “10 reasons to smile”. So smile because…

  • … your ex is acting al jealous when he hears you mention any boy or when you say “honey” to a guy over the phone!
  • …. you nailed that exam that was super hard and you didn’t study! Smile even more if the smartest kid in your class had the same grade that you had
  • …. Pheobe change her name to Princess Consuela Bannanahammock
  • …one of your closest guy friends just came back from college and you saw him after 5 months!
  • … you are reading this which means you own a computer and you have internet. You are lucky
  • …. you are stronger than yesterday!
  • … you are awesome and I just feel it.
  • … those super skinny jeans that are a size 4 or 2 finally fits!
  • … you passed chemistry! (I PASSED IT)
  • …your crush liked your picture in Instagram
  • …Despicable Me 2 and Monsters University are coming out soon
  • And I’m sure there are hundreds of other reasons to smile. So go ahead, smile a little, and make people laugh. Believe me, it’s one of the best feelings in the world.
  • … Logan Lerman is single (or at least I think he is)

Abercrombie for the Homeless

I never liked Abercrombie and Fitch that much. I though the clothes was way too expensive for what it was and the store was kind of depressive, I mean , the people that sells you the clothes are super models, those abs are liked photoshoped!
That’s why when I saw what the CEO said about cool guys and un-cool guys I wanted to barf. Really? Your target is the cool people? What about no?
There is this other guy that wants to do something amazing to show the Abercrombie CEO how wrong he is.

WRECK, WRECK THIS JOURNAL

Remember when you were in kindergarten and the teacher said it was painting time? Nothing that could stain your art piece was near the table, and you couldn’t paint outside the lines because the teacher won’t put your drawing in the wall so everybody can see it? Everything had to be perfect, and all our life we been told that: “it has to be perfect to be pretty”.

I’m actually a perfectionist when it comes to do a project, a painting, anything. I imagine something in my head and I work my ass off to make it that way. I work in a place where the only thing I have in my table is the canvas, not even the painting oils! I have always tried to do everything perfect because I been told that perfect is the right way.

So when I saw WRECK THIS JOURNAL I fell in love with it, I don’t have to wreck it in the perfect way, I have to wreck it in the most creative way possible. I will have fun while doing it and I will not let perfection get in the way of my wrecking process.
I will post many of the pages of my journal, without caring if it looks pretty or not!

50 Facts About Me

I been seeing the “50 Facts About Me Tag” in Youtube, and since I own a Blog and not a Vlog, I decided to write them down here! This was actually really hard for me to do because I had to think about how I am and what I like to do

1.      I’m 5.7’
2.      I’m a brunnette
3.      I don’t have a favorite color, I hate pink thou
4.      I can’t eat the apple’s skin.
5.      When I’m tired I cry, a lot.
6.      I eat my McNuggets with French Fries as a sandwich, aka: I wrapped a nugget in two French fries.
7.      I can’t see fishes swimming, I can’t stand them. Not the smell, not the taste, not the look.
8.      If you want to win my heart, give me some Reeses Peanut Butter Cups.
9.      I love to read a lot, but lately I haven’t found time nor a great book that has me hooked *snif snif*
10.  I’m super close to my family and friends.
11.  I get attached really easily, that’s why I cry in every single movie or book. Really, I cried in CLICK! (Adam Sandler). My cousin Stephi teases me a lot because of that.
12.  I have big brows, and more than once I been stopped at the street by a stranger who tells me to never “chopped”, “wax” or “ruined” them.
13.  I’m extremely scared of spiders. I see one and I start yelling and jumping in a chair so it won’t kill me. Remember Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets? Is my favorite book and I skipped the chapter about the giant spider and in the movie I did the same.  I’m really scared of them!
14.  I really don’t like to wear makeup. I like putting it on, but having it on and the taking it off is horrible for me.
15.  I had an obsession with Nick Jonas when I was 11-13 years old. It was crazy, but I never had any poster of him in my room.
16.  I watched all the episodes of White Collar in less than two weeks.

20.  I had never broken a bone in my body, so I never wore a cast. I was extremely jelaous of my cousin because she had a cast and people wrote on it and make doodles and I wanted one.
21.  I have long fingers; people told me they are perfect for piano.
22.  After I watched Monsters Inc, I slept with the door of my closet open because that way the monsters will have problems opening my door. (Monsters Inc is one of my fave movies now!)
23.  I never had a pet, sadly
24.  I’m the only girl in my family.
25.  I have a birth mark in my belly, that is shaped like a heart with a hat (my kindergarten teacher told me that and I stuck with it)

27.  When I have hicupp, I say “HIPPO” between each hiccup.
28.  My friends and family forbid me to sing. Not just because I have a terrible, terrible voice but I don’t have rhythm at all.
29.  Despite my lack of rhythm (fact 27), I’m a great dancer and I was in dancing lesson that ended with a huge festival for more than 8 years.
30.  I used to pretend I was a Editor in Chief in a magazine and every magazine I bought when I was between 7 to 11 has marks and post its and notes on it pointing the mistakes and things that will look better and the models I like for the next photo shoot.

37.  Talking about despicable, I totally love Dispicable Me. I’m in love with the minions!
38.  If I have a dog I want to name it Nugget, Mozarella, Mochino, or Dolce.

Things I Hate: Plane Edition.

So yes, I traveled yesterday for a family vacation. It’s the only time my brothers, my parents and me have “free time” and can travel, so here we are, in a two bedroom apartment, the five of us, together. (One of my brothers is coming next week actually, but it’s still family vaca)

And yesterday was traveling day, the thing I hate the must. I love airports,  I have a blast there getting in the Duty Free or eating in the food courts there, and just walking. But being on a plane? Ugh, I seriously hate it. I’m not afraid of them, I just get super bored there, especially when your parents are in business  class (I was supposed to come next week but my parents change my  plane ticket and there weren't sits available in business for me). I was alone, for 9 hours, in a plane, so I had enough time to think and realize the things I hate about traveling
  • The “Bathrooms” in the Plane: are they even bathrooms? There are horribly small, you don’t have space to even turn around, people is super messy and they can’t aim the toilet, and it’s always smelly, but really, really smelly. Have you ever entered a men’s bathroom at a soccer, baseball or basketball game? Plane Bathrooms smell worse!
  • The Last Row: thankfully this wasn't my case, but if you are lucky enough to have one sit in this row, not only you will have visitors (people who want to get to the bathroom), a horrible smell because of the bathroom, the light from the crew space,  and small place for your legs (all the rows are the same), but you won’t be able to rest your sit!  Way to go!
  • The Small Space for your Legs: I’m a big girl, I’m 5’7 and I have a hourglass body, my legs are super long and you have no idea how hard it is for me to be able to sit comfortably in a plane. I can’t bend my legs because I hit the person I have besides me, I can’t  crossed them because, again, I have people next to me. I can’t put them in my sit, because then I won’t fit. It’s too horrible. And if the case is like yesterday, were I have two sits by myself, and I can put the arm rest up, I will have the other arm rest in my back, or my legs won’t fit in the two sits, so I just went for crossing my legs and sitting like in kindergarten.
  • Family with little kids: Ok, you have to travel, I get it. But smash some sleeping pills, put them in warm milk, and give them to them! Seriously, you will be more relaxed because you don’t have to pay attention to them, and I will be able to rest in the plane ride. Note: it’s even worse when a family has like 3 little kids, and when it’s not just one family, but 6! Note to self: drink warm milk with sleeping pills before a plane ride.
  • Plane Food: or as a I call it, Jail Food. Is horrible! I don’t even listen the options anymore, I just ask for the bread and the fruits, even If the bread is icy cold and the fruit smells like it’s been there for days. Since I always have this problem, I eat like crazy in the airport (cough, to cheese sticks, cookies, a coffee, a coke, and 2 bag of chips, cough). Yeah, yeah, I should eat healthy, but I need something in my belly!
  • Waiting for the suitcases: is that mine? Where is mine? Did it arrived? Look, that’s mine! No, it’s purple! UGH! Waiting is horrible, and the fact that maybe, just maybe, your suitcase didn't arrived is the worst. But when you finally see your suitcase, it’s a magic moment!

And last but not least:
  • The plane ride itself: At first you are excited because the last Seventeen Magazine is in your lap and maybe InStyle and Glamour too, but after ten minutes you devoured the magazines, and your kindle is out of battery, and you forgot your earphones, and the planes ones are crappy, and you have two options, or to sleep or to stay awake talking to yourself. Imagine that for 9 hours?

Carter Jax

I know, I know, I said I will read other books, but I had Sophie And Carter in my kindle and I was super bored in my chemistry class and I just started reading it, and I devoured it! I finished it in less than an hour!

The book is about Sophie and Carter, two teenagers who live in the same street, they are neighbors, and they both have a pretty messed up life.

Carter’s mother has esquizofrenia and Sophie’ mother is never home. They only have eachothers.

This book is pretty good, even if I felt like the author graped up the book too quickly.
And yes, this means I have a new boy for my book boyfriend list.

He is so kind and so strong, living with a mother like his must be hard, plus the whole situation with his father.  The way he talks to Sophie and understand her  and takes care of her. Carter and Sophie take care of eachothers. And that’s the main reason why I think Carter is such a cute guy. His life is a mess, and he still takes care of others, and protects them.

And my mental picture of him? Josh Hutcherson. The only description there is about Carter is “broad shoulders, square jaw, piercing grey eyes”, and , boom,  I thought of Josh.  I think he will be perfect for the role.
See? Perfect!

Call Me Hope

I finished Call Me Hope, and I have to say how wonderful it was! I think is so well written and the plot is really good. Hope is a 6th grader who’s mom is abusive to her, she call Hope dumb shit and stupid and makes her feel horrible. Hope comes up with a system to make her feel better, and she puts in on practice.

Even if it’s not the typical book I read, I enjoy it. I won’t post much about it because I don’t want to spoil it, but it was a really good book.

So Depressive

I can’t believe my spring break will end tomorrow and I haven’t finish one single book! I’m supposed to do this huge amount of homework and read two books for school and I haven’t finish one of the ones I wrote in my list , not even the ones for school!

Maybe that will be my “after spring before summer to read list”.
So depressive.

"Do You Realize?"

I can’t wait to finish high school, I can’t wait the moment where my name will be called and I will get my diploma. I can’t wait my first day of college and meet my roommate and study what I really, really like.

But at the same time, is kind of depressed. A friend just texted me “Do you realize this is the last vacation we have that when it ends we will go back to school?”.  I have to say, I cried, a little tear dropped from my eye. And yes, I’m sick of most of the people in school, I want a fresh start, I want to start my career and my life, but at the same time, I don’t want this time of my life to end. I love it, I really love it.

Spring Motivation

So as I told you before, Spring Break is all about changes, and since is also Passover and I can’t eat anything but eggs, potatoes and chicken (plus veggies and fruits), and I’m away from school for two weeks, I decided that this break will be th perfect time to tone up my body and be healthy. Yes, I told you I lost like 10 pounds, but my body isn’t toned and I really want that. So what’s my motivation here?  Get the body I want? Be healthy? Let’s face it, we all want that, and it’s not enough motivation to do it, so I sat down and wrote the list that motivates me

  • I want to be able to go to the beach and don’t hide my body.
  • I want to be able to run for a while without getting tired.
  • I want to have the option to wear whatever I want.
  • I want certain boy to look at me and say “I lost her”. (PS. I think personal appearance is not that important, but if a cool, smart and pretty girl comes in a great body, he will regret it!)
  • I want to rock that little black swimsuit

How do I do it?
Pictures! Yes,  pictures, as in the last post I wrote about motivation, pictures will remain you about your goal.
Motivation Wall! Post its, who doesn’t love those sticky notes things? Grab a few and write some exercise, some phrases that are motivational, something that will remind you what your goal is.
Agenda! Having a specific time to exercise each day will make you do it! That way you won’t only exercise each day but you will know what to do, if you did arms yesterday, today is leg day!

So, this is shorter and have less tips, but it’s what is making me exercise this break!

To READ List: Spring Eddition

I have to read Dona Barbara for school, plus an economy book. But hey! I have the right to read my books too, and I’m planning on doing that!
I want to read several books during this break, and here are the ones that are calling my attention:

  • Call Me Hope: Actually, it didn’t got my attention at first, but a friend lend it to me and told me to read it. So I said yes, I can’t judge something I don’t know. So far so good.
  • Perfect Chemestry: even if I hate when there are quotes in Spanish because I know for fact that no one uses those phrases, I think this book will be great, kinda like Romeo and Juliette.
  • Stealing Heaven: I just love Elizabeth Scott writing, she is great!
  • Eleonor and Park: romance is in the air! I read the description and went AWW all the way.
  • Fairest of All: because there are two sides on every story.

Spring Break

Spring Break is about cleaning and becoming a new person, at least for me. I mean, I do my resolution list during winter time and I try to keep it, but Spring Break, or for me, Passover Break is the time when I clean my room, ditched old stuff, try a new hair style (who said going back to my dark brown shade will make me look better?), and yes, fixing this blog too!

As you can see, I said goodbye to the newspaper background and the white and red theme. Now is more bubbly and cuter, and I really, really love it.

I also spent like 30 minutes fixing the colors on old post, and I’m finally done! Maybe tomorrow I will check (again) the spelling and grammar mistakes.

Enjoy your Spring Break!

Boost Your Mood

I’m a very organized girl. I really am. I have an agenda were I write everything, even the movie or TV show releases or the extracurricular activities I have. Yes, I tend to organize everything, and that includes my ipod.

In my IPod I have a playlist for everything, EVERYTHING!. I have a playlist just for the gym, on for plane rides, one when I want to relax, one when I’m dressing up and doing my makeup, one for when I’m studying, one for when I feel romantic, one for when I want to read a book…. And one for when I’m feeling down.

But it’s not the typical slow songs that will make me cry even harder, no. I listen to inspirational songs that will make me get out of those boyfriend cut sweatpants (my faves btw) and put a nice dress and g out and show the world that I’m fine!
